The addresses, contacts and precise times will be indicated on the program which will be given to you, on which will also be the QRcodes to flash to listen to the podcast, as well as maps and descriptions of the sites.

Day 1 - Carcassonne

Go for a delicious breakfast in a refined tea room in the Bastide of Carcassonne, then enjoy a guided tour of this beautiful Occitan city, with its characteristic military architecture. Stroll past the shops in the city center, and discover the excitement of a southern city. Make a stop at the Museum of Fine Arts or enter into the intimacy of a great poet by visiting the Maison Joë Bousquet.

Have lunch in town, in a restaurant with atypical and careful decoration, favored by the Carcassonnais, or take a vegetarian break at the vegan reference in La Bastide : you will be surprised !

Join the City, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, via the Pont Vieux if you are on foot, from where you will have a breathtaking view of the river and the medieval city, then go up the charming rue Trivalle to the Porte Narbonne. Stroll through the City, don't miss a visit to the Château Comtal and the School Museum. Scare yourself a little in the Haunted House, and discover the local artisans of the City of Potters. Shopping and culture go hand in hand in the old streets of what is the largest medieval city in Europe. Scan our QRCodes to understand the breathtaking spectacle before you, and get essential information thanks to short original podcasts.

Fancy a glass of wine in a musical and festive atmosphere, or a simpler aperitif on a shaded terrace? We will give you the right addresses !

Then dine in one of the Cité's gourmet restaurants, before going to see the Sound and Light show which illuminates the facades of the Château Comtal, trying the Cité Escape Game or simply enjoying the enchantment of a night walk around the medieval ramparts.

Day 2 - le Carcassonnais

For sportive people :

Active relaxation at the Domaine d'Auriac golf course and lunch, gourmet or bistro, at the estate's restaurant.

Those who take it easy can swap golf for a 2CV tour of our beautiful countryside, which will take them to a wine château where they can have lunch after tasting original vintages.

A leatherworker will then welcome you into his workshop and will reveal the secrets of his trade to you, by having you handle his natural leathers, before visiting a characteristic wine estate or an artisanal chocolate factory.

Dinner concert in an authentic estate, surrounded by nature, then stroll through a night market by the water, unless you prefer to go dancing! The village balls will give you a taste of the local culture, and the numerous festivals will take you to eclectic rhythms, according to your desires.

Day 3 - Caunes and Cabrespine

Morning :

Go up to the foothills of the Montagne Noire. It's very close, and yet it's a different universe.

In a bucolic and preserved setting, a basket weaver will lead a workshop during which you will make your first wicker object yourself.

You can regain your strength in an atypical restaurant, whose decoration will amaze you, as much as the quality of the food.

Afternoon :

Enjoy the coolness of the Giant Chasm of Cabrespine, then walk the botanical trail that winds up the hill. The most daring can venture into the old mines, the entrance to which we will show them. It's a dive into the underground world of the Montagne Noire that awaits you.

Those who prefer to stay on the surface can take refuge under the arcades of the Caunes-Minervois abbey. Stroll through the streets of this southern village, then continue your learning of the secrets of marble with a visit to the Carrière du Roy, in a breathtakingly beautiful site. Our podcasts will accompany you to enrich this walk.

End the afternoon with a visit to an organic herbalist's garden or a truffle farm that we have selected for you, and meet passionate and friendly producers. Or relax in the elegant spa of a castle, and enjoy the sweetness of the evenings in the South.

Day 4 - Minerva - Le Somail

Discover the City of Minerva, clinging to its rocky peak. Mecca of Catharism, it will offer you breathtaking panoramas, as well as a refreshing break by the banks of its rivers.

For the more sporty, we have selected unique hiking loops around the town of Minerve, a site remarkable for its historical and geological specificities.

We have found you a gem for lunch, an exceptional little restaurant that will not leave you indifferent.

Then take the road towards Le Somail, stopping at Bize-Minervois to tour this picturesque village.

At Le Somail, after strolling between the shelves of the historic bookstore and doing some shopping on the grocery barge where you will find local and organic products, discover the Canal du Midi in a different way, and enjoy 2 hours of freshness on its waters by renting a small electric boat.

On your return, you can have a snack at the Somail port. Our good addresses will accompany you throughout your trip !

Do you want to discover the "Guinguette" spirit, so typical of our beautiful France? A dinner by the water will leave you with memories that will make your friends regret not having accompanied you! But if you prefer the specialized menu of a renowned restaurant, you will also find it on the way back.

Day 5 - Lagrasse

Three suggestions for being in communion with nature :

  • a guided bike or electric bike ride in the massif surrounding the village
  • a hike, free or accompanied, on its winding paths
  • a horseback ride in the guarrigue.

If you are ready to go a little further, push on to Termes, visit the castle at the top of its hill and we will show you the path to the waterfall, for a tropical immersion. The road back to Lagrasse is magnificent. Depending on the season, a little canyoning will transform your vacation into an adventure challenge !

Have lunch in a small restaurant where quality equals charm, then stroll through the beautiful village of Lagrasse, between its narrow streets and its medieval halls, visit the abbey, discover the secrets of artisanal manufacturing of one of our most emblematic condiments and go down to the river for a refreshing swim.

In nearby villages, we will point out other original swimming spots, small shaded gardens in old historic houses where you can take refreshments, and small producers who will explain to you how their honey or cheeses are made, after you will have witnessed the milking of goats.

In the evening, you will have the choice between a gastronomic experience and authentic restaurants, the particularities of which we will reveal to you.
